  4. A faithful devoted disciple of Christ.
It was a joy to serve with him in the Union Ward! One week before he passed he stood at the pulpit in our Chapel and bore his testimony of Christ and Christ’s Church. And in the second hour he helped me teach the Youth as he sat next to his daughter Aleyna. His last words to me that day were to express his love and concern for one of members. I will forever be grateful to him for his wisdom and example!
Blessings of peace and love to his family!

  10. I was so sorry to hear this today, I remember that Kara and Robert came to visit us in Florida. Robert didn’t want sit still – he asked if we had a project he could do. My husband said he was trying to get internet wired in one of our rooms. Robert went right to work, climbed up into the ceiling and had the job accomplished in no time. We have known Kara for years and are so sorry about the loss of her wonderful husband and father to her daughters. We LOVE the Broadbent family!!!

  15. Robert was a unique light in the world. He was keen to enjoy the opportunities around him, and I love that he shared them with his family. One of my favorite memories while he was in Sitka was when he wholeheartedly joined my children’s processional from our house to the ocean to send off their beloved pet beta in style, floating on a clamshell until the waves swallowed it up. My deepest condolences.
