Hayden, Darlene M.

Darlene Mary (nee Thieret) Hayden, born June 10, 1950 in Perryville, Missouri, passed away on May 10, 2017 at her home in Oakville, Missouri surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hayden loved spending time with her family and friends, planting flowers, grooming her yard, caring for her grandchildren, and serving others with acts of kindness.

She is survived by her beloved husband David Hayden of 44 years; three daughters: Jennifer (Brent) Beers of Festus, Jill (James) Portwood of St. Louis, and Jacki Hayden of Affton; and five grandchildren: Bella Portwood, Jasper Portwood, Zachary Beers, Ava Beers, and Brayden Beers. She is survived by five brothers: Dale Thieret of Perryville, Allen Thieret of Ste. Genevieve, Gary Thieret of Perryville, Kevin Thieret of Perryville, and Denny Thieret of Perryville; three sisters (Carol Miserocchi of High Ridge, Marilyn Hoffman of St. Louis, and Karen Ellis of Perryville), numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bernice (nee L’Hote) Thieret.

A memorial will be held at Kutis Funeral Home’s South County Chapel at 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, in Mehlville, on Saturday, May 20 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. She will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Hayden asks for memorials to be made to Feed My People, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, or a shelter for battered women of your choice.
