Day, Patricia “Pat” Donnett

September 8, 1955 - June 21, 2026

Patricia Donnett Day, age 70, a resident of Arnold, MO, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at 3:20 pm on Sunday, June 21,2026, at her home.  She was born September 8, 1955 in Guntersville, AL to the late James Thomas Guthrie and Vester Lorene (nee: Guffey) Guthrie, the tenth of eleven children. Her family moved from Alabama to East Prairie, MO in late 1956. Patricia had been employed for 20 years at Chrysler in Fenton, MO, a was a member of the Local 110 Union.  

She was a loving wife, mother and dearly loved all her family, friends and fur babies. She had many hobbies, including sewing, doll making and arts & crafts. She attended a Baptist Church in Arnold, MO.

On August 17, 1974, in Sikeston, MO, she married Lindel Joseph Day Sr., who survives of the home in Arnold.  Also surviving are her daughter, Jessica Grass (Eric) of Troy, MO., her son, Lindel Joseph Day Jr., of Arnold, MO; her grandson, Joshua Joseph Grass of Troy, MO;  two brothers, Tony Guthrie of Scottsboro, AL and James Guthrie of Licking, MO; three sisters, Ruth Rhyne of Grant, AL, ,Shirley Howton of Scottsboro, AL and Sue Guthrie of East Prairie, MO.  Preceding her in death were two brothers, Franklin Guthrie and Nathan Guthrie; and three sisters, Elizabeth Wilson, Kathrine Haley; and Ruby Jones.

Services:  Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Saturday, June 27, 2026, 11am.  Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.  Visitation Friday June 26, 4-7pm.

  1. I am so shocked and saddened to see this! Awwwww my sweet Pattycake, you were simply the best!! I hope you knew how much you were loved. My heart breaks for all of you! I hope all of your loved ones and fur babies welcomed you to heaven! I will miss you and be forever grateful that I knew you! Rest in peace sweet lady!!💔💔💔💔

  4. Aunt Pat you were truly one of the sweetest and most kind spirited person I was blessed to know!! You always had a smile on your face and always encouraged all to be their best!! When I went thru bad times you would always message me n tell me how much I was loved and to never give up on myself you once told me that the storms that I will pass thru will only make me stronger in the future!! You always admired my love for animals just like you!! I know you are no longer in pain and had a wonderful heavenly reunion!! I know you gave Momma and Daddy the biggest hugs!! You will always be remembered with a smile!! Love you Aunt Pat!! You will be so missed by all who loved you so dearly!!
