Beloved husband of Janell Elane DeClue (nee Cook); loving father of Tyler Joseph (Brooke) DeClue and Melissa Lauren (Fiancé Charles Houska) DeClue; adoring grandfather of Halle Jane Houska and Otto Tyler DeClue; dear son of the late Kenneth Larry (Nancy) DeClue and Ima Dean (William) Klaas; dear brother of Tammy Monica (Butch) Favignano, Lisa (Todd) Scott, Nathan (Merlyne) Polete, Ethan (Summer) Polete and the late Rick DeClue. Our dearest uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Thursday, November 20 at 11:00 am. Interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Missouri Department of Conservation appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 pm.

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for Janell and her family.
Lord, You see their pain, their loss, and the weight they’re carrying after Larry’s passing.
We ask that You surround them with Your comfort — the kind that only You can give.
Let Your peace cover Janell in this season of grief.
Strengthen her when the sorrow feels overwhelming.
Hold her close, remind her she is not alone, and let Your presence be felt in every quiet moment.
We pray for Larry’s family as well — that You bring healing to their hearts, unity to their home, and hope for the days ahead.
Turn their mourning into a testimony of Your love, Your grace, and Your faithfulness.
Give Janell rest.
Give her clarity.
Give her the kind of peace that passes all understanding.
