  1. Fawzi and Fadia,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a lovely lady and good neighbor (across the street for almost 30 years). She will be missed. Sending prayers!

  3. Ms. Deeba taught me in high school twenty years ago and I absolutely adored her. I experienced a lot of struggles as a teen, and she always kept snacks in her back closet when I needed food. I am so grateful to have come across her, so intelligent and SO funny! She will be missed.

  5. It is with the greatest sympathy that I extend to the family, friends, co-workers and all that knew Ms. Deeba. I met Ms. Deeba at Soldan High School. She was a very hardworking teacher that truly cared about students and them learning. She was a dedicated Union member, too. As her Union President, I would make sure that I visited with her before leaving Soldan. If I missed her, she would find me before I left.
I’m deeply saddened to read that she had transitioned. A beautiful soul is at rest and her work is done. I will miss Ms. Deeba as will others who knew, “Deeba!”

    Respectfully Submitted,
