Beloved husband for 52 years of Barbara DeGuire (nee Dencker); loving father of Cynthia (Edward) Turski, Nick (Natascha) DeGuire and Jamie (Joe) Menendez; dear grandfather of Christopher, Jonathan, Bryan and Daniel Turski, Alex and Michael DeGuire, Jenna, Joey and Jace Menendez; dear great-grandfather of 8; dear son of the late Alberta and Paul Sr. DeGuire; dear brother of the late Mary Head and Paul Joe DeGuire.

Jim was a US Navy veteran, an avid golfer and proud former resident of Fredericktown, MO.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON SERVICE, 10151 Gravois, Friday, July 9, 1:00 p.m. Interment JB National Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 5-9 p.m.

  5. I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. The whole family has my sympathy. I have so many good memories of Jim growing up. We were cousins and although he was a little older than me I always loved visiting my grandparents in Fredericktown because Jim would entertain me and my sisters. Years later we reconnected and had many enjoyable evenings with Jim and Barb.

  7. Very sorry to see about my uncle. I have some fond memories of Christmas in fredericktown and my college graduation that we celebrated together.
