Marty,
You were the best of friends. Enjoyed our afternoon chats with Karen during lunch breaks and going out to our many lunches. Good time when you picked me up in your restored Mustang and we drove out to Creve Coeur Lake. Take care in the grace of our Lord until we meet again. My deepest condolences to Terri, children, and all family. Marty always had a great personality and positive outlook on life. Marty will be truly missed.
To the Family of Martin James Deiters:
You have my deepest sympathy at the passing of Marty. He was a classmate of mine at the Former Saint George Catholic Church. My most vivid memory of Marty occurred when we were in the 8th grade. Gym class was always a challenge for me because I was not very athletic. I remember when during class we were asked to run for time around the perimeter of the playground near the cemetery. Marty always came in first. His stride was such that he always looked to me like a Gazelle, and I resembled a Turtle. He always inspired me to want to do better. My heartfelt condolences to every one of you. Please take care and stay safe. God be with you.
My deepest sympathy to the entire family. My best memories of Marty was his participation as a Cub Scout leader for our Sons. His friendly demeanor and positive outlook was what set him apart from most people. God has Blessed us with your presence here and may he bless you with eternal peace.
I’ve known Marty all of my life, he’s my cousin. He was always so nice and had a great smile on his face every time I would see him as an adult! As little kids I remember Easter Egg hunts at his families home and what fun it was!!
One of my most recent and favorite memories of Marty was when he gave the most wonderful Father of the Bride speach at Teresa’s wedding!!❤️ it was so heartfelt and loving!! He was at his best that night for sure and Terri right there beside him!
Deepest condolences to Terri Charley Teresa Dan and Nancy Donna and Kevin Lisa and Racheal and the grandchildren and all his cousins and friends❤️❤️ Marty will always be remembered and never forgotten RIP
His Grandma Deiters always said “May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace” after every meal prayer❤️❤️
