  1. Sending each and every one of you love and prayers and a hug for your heart. Just know all those loving memories of her are the legacy of her love.

Your Dad was waiting for her and now they are together once again. Hoping that the love that surrounds your family helps you to find strength and peace.

I remember fondly my visits to the Dempsey house. Mrs. D. was either tickling the ivories or filling the house with great smells from the kitchen. Michele we sure had some great times that started and ended at your house because of your parents. I can hear her laughter and it makes me smile.

Sending you all much love as you say goodbye to her.

  9. On behalf of Mark, Jimmy, Dave and myself, we loved Mrs and Mr Dempsey. They were like a second Mom and Dad to Jimmy, Dave and me because they were Luker’s too. Like when I worked at Schnucks, Mrs Dempsey would be in getting some donuts before work and Mr Dempsey taught me about Birdseye frozen vegetables . Well said on Facebook, Jimmy and Timmy grew up, and Erin and me and Dave, younger than Sean but Brian’s grade and what made that special was Luker Mom and Dad’s could punish you too, especially Mom’s phoned each other more. But during sports they cheered for you too, and it felt special! I knew about the good doctor and just will always remember Mrs Dempsey’s smile and when our Late Mom got sick. Our Deepest Condolences and Prayers RIP

  13. Margo, I woke up thinking of your mother today. And now as I read her obituary and the family legacy she and your father left behind (if I counted correctly–you and your 10 siblings, 18 grandchildren and 10+2 great grandchildren–wow!) not to mention the impressions shared above, I am awed.

So sorry for yours and your family’s loss. I especially hope that in the midst of today’s sadness, there were moments of joy.

    Take very dear care.
