Evelyn Demsko

In Loving Memory

Demsko, Evelyn R. “Evie”

Demsko, Evelyn R. “Evie” (nee Jonas) Monday March 25, 2024. Beloved wife of the late David Michael Demsko. Cherished mother of Lisa (Mike) Tiff, David Jr. (Tina) Demsko, Matthew (Julie) Demsko and Stephen Demsko. Loving grandmother of Jasmine, Isaac, David III, Summer, Nicholas, Stephan, Quinn and Alex. Dear sister of Rose (Tom) McClarren and George (the late Mary) Jonas. Our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Evie was woman with a huge heart for giving and nurturing others. Her stunning garden was a reflection of her beauty and creativity. She was a trusted and talented hairdresser. Evie was our shelter from the storm, our refuge, our sunshine. Above all else, Evie was a woman of faith, a child of God, and the perfect example of how Jesus meant for us to love one another.

A memorial visitation will be held for Evie and Dave at Twin Rivers Church, 10575 Tesson Ferry Rd. (63123), Saturday April 13 at 1:00 pm until service at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Animal House Cat Rescue, 2151 59th St. (63110) or to Twin Rivers Church appreciated.

  1. Lisa, Please accept my sincere condolences. I know this has been a heartbreaking time for you. Please know that you can call me anytime to talk or just to cry. A mother is the heart of the family and when she is no longer with you here on earth, she is always looking after you from above. God has just gained an angel. My heart goes out to you, my friend.

  4. I went to highschool with Evie and she was a treausre back then. Looks like she never changed. Evie & Dave married before I did and she loaned me her dress. She was a real blessing. I’ll be praying for your family.

  5. Evie was not only an amazing woman but an awesome human being. Her smile would light up a room! She was never short on mothering advice to me and always had a way of making me feel special! I know that the grief her family feels right now comes from such a deep love that she shared with them! We know you are in God’s arms for eternity!

  7. Our deepest sympathies for the entire family. Evie unfailingly demonstrated her deep faith & passionate commitment to family & friends. Through her deep faith in God, she has shown her family & friends courage, strength, & unconditional love. The streets of Heaven are too crowded today & our hearts are broken. We die twice in life. Once when we take our last breath & God calls us home. The 2nd time is when the last person we know speaks our name. Let us all speak of Evie often to everyone. Rest in peace our sweet Angel 🙏🏼
