Dent, Beverly “Bev” A. (nee Reeder)

February 2, 1934 - April 19, 2024

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Charles O. Dent; dearest mother of the late Constance Hahn and Candence Dent; dear grandmother of the late Elisha (survived by Darrell) Voiselle and Christopher Falls; sister of the late Jacqueline (Gerald) Jacobs and Janet (Joe) James; our dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Bev was a parishioner of St. Simon the Apostle for many years.  She was a proud Teamster, having worked for Roadway Trucking Company for at least 40 years.

Service Tuesday, April 23, 12:00 NOON at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.  Entombment Sunset Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.  http://www.alz.org  Visitation Monday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

  1. work with Bev for 18 years at Roadway Express at north St Louis and Fenton and bowl with Bev on Raodway team and had alot of furn. Will miss her .I love working wil Bev .I just her as a friend.

  2. I will miss her deeply known Bev for over 45 years LOVED her so much.Bowled with her vacationed with her enjoyed hanging out with her we did alot together .We laughed and cried good and bad she is with her loved ones now .Beverly i love you

  3. Aunt Bev was always so full of life and laughter. She will be very much missed by our family. I picture her so joyful to be reunited with Uncle Charlie, Connie, Candi and Elisha, along with her other family members. Rest in Peace.

  4. I’m so very sad to hear this news! Beverly and Charlie were my cousins on my Father’s side and I very close to them both until the death of Charlie. Since then I have lost connection. I’m happy with the thought of Bev being reunited with Charlie and the girls! Rest in peace Bev.
