Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection Saturday, January 19, 2019.
Beloved husband of Linda Beutel (nee Ahring); loving father of Jill (Patrick) Cronin, Kristine “Krissy” Deschler, Amy (Nick) Tsymberov and Emily (Eric) Beutel-Todd; adoring grandfather of Jack, Caroline and Liam; dear brother of Dennis (Judy) and George (Linda) Deschler and Jackie (the late Larry) Cleveland; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Lenny was a retired St. Louis City Police Officer serving for 20 years. During his tenure, he served in the intelligence division and was detached to the IRS Criminal Investigation Division. He then worked as an investigator for the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s office. Lenny enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a talented soccer player playing with: IHM, CBC and SECO – winning numerous championships. He went on to play for SLU and won NCAA Div. 1.
Lenny was a friend to many who will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Saturday, January 26, 9:30 a.m. to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will be held in private. Contributions to backstoppers.org appreciated. Visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m.
