In Loving Memory

Deschu, Dorothy Marie (nee Bremerkamp)

October 21, 1937 - May 15, 2026

Dorothy passed away peacefully and comfortably on Friday May 15, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Andrew P. Deschu.

A loving mother of Jeffrey A. Kneemiller (Sandy) and Peter L. Deschu (Leslie). She was a loving and wonderful grandmother to 9 and great grandmother to 15. Dorothy was the remaining sibling of 9 children born to Flory and Dorothy E. Bremerkamp (nee Ringe).

Dorothy worked tirelessly as an advocate for the unborn and was the director of the Crisis Pregnancy Centers of St. Louis for many years. In this role she saved countless unborn children, trained valuable trainees and was sent by the Christian Action Counsel to open many other CPC.s across the US and in other countries.

As a passionate believer in Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah, she had a strong love for Israel and the Jewish people. She was a member of Beit Tefillah House of Prayer in St. Louis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Thrive, PreBorn! or IFCJ in her name.

A celebration of life is planned for June with the date to be determined.

Condolences
