Deters, Rosemarie “Rose”

(nee Farinella) Fortified with the Sacraments of the Catholic Church on June 13, 2017. She passed away in her home,  surrounded by her family. Dedicated wife of the late Paul  Deters; devoted mother of Michael, Mark (Beverly Frasher), Matthew Deters and Marsha (Robert) Gross; grandmother of Scott, Jeffrey, Jessica and Alyssa Deters, Jacob and Daniel Gross; great-grandmother of Isabel and Luke Deters. Loving daughter of the late Aqualina (Molinara) and Giuseppe “Joseph” Farninella; sister of the Joseph “Junior” (the late Rose) Farinella and Josephine “Josie” (the late Don) Jones; and of the late Frank (Gloria) Farin, Louis “Louie” (Sue) Farninella, Anna (Dan)  Scanlon and Helen (James) Varner; sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She was the mother of 4 children, adopted “Mom” to many and friend to many more.  She will deeply be missed by all who knew her.

Services:  Visitation Monday, June 19, 4-8 p.m. at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd..  Funeral Mass, Tuesday, June 20, 10 a.m. at Assumption Parish, 4725 Mattis Rd, 63128.  Interment at J.B. National Cemetery to follow.
