Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late Daniel C. Deutsch; loving mother of David (Jennifer) Deutsch and Donna (Tom) Fischbach; adoring grandmother of Taylor (Jake) Slade, Maddison (Alex) Blair, Jacob Fischbach, Daniel and Kamryn Deutsch; cherished great-grandmother of Sam Slade; dear sister of Helen and the late Grace “LaVerne”, Patricia, Margaret, Jacqueline, John, Anne “Mickey” and Sharon “Nellie”; dear sister-in-law of Mary Ann Hausermann. Our dearest Aunt, Great-Aunt, Cousin and friend to many.
Born in 1945, Kathleen was one of 9 children. She was extremely proud of her family and her Irish heritage, especially on St. Patrick’s Day. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed her time going to Mass and volunteering in her younger years. She loved spending time with family and playing rummy. Another love of hers was clowning. She loved bringing happiness and joy to others through her alter ego, Sweetie Pie.
Kathleen was a genuinely kind soul in this crazy world we live in. As many of her friends and family can attest, she would literally give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She has proved that time and time again throughout her life.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She is now reunited with my Dad and I sure hope they are up there fishing.
Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church 6020 Old Antonia Rd. 63052 on Monday, October 12 from 9:30 am. until Funeral Mass time at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
