10/13/41-4/30/2021- 79 years

John Diethelm, asleep in Jesus’s arms on Friday, April 30, 2021 after a long struggle with cancer. He is celebrated by his cherished wife, Margaret Diethelm (nee Schoemehl), his beloved children: Teresa Finley (Robert), Susan Blatz (Michael) and Michael Diethelm, and treasured PawPaw to his grandchildren; Jacob Finley (Kate), Bobby Finley, Hannah Hudson (Jimmy), Noelle O’Saben (Ian), Elyse Blatz, Lucas Finley, Olivia Blatz and Zachary Diethelm, and great-granddaughter, Finley Grace Hudson. Beloved brother, brother in law, uncle, great uncle and friend.

A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, May 20th, from 3-9 PM at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63123. The funeral liturgy will be Friday, May 21, 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 4220 Ripa Ave, St. Louis, MO 63125. A funeral procession will follow to Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, 7030 Gravois Ave., St. Louis, MO 63116. In lieu of flowers, a Mass offering or a donation to the charity of your choice would be preferred.
