Beloved husband of Kris Diewald (nee Workman); loving father of Lesley (Bryan) Endermuhle, Christina (Jeff) Nicoletti, Torey (Patrick) Mattmann and Timothy (Krista Catron) Schoenfeld; cherished grandfather of Jillian (Alex), Alexis, Camryn, Addison, Bradley Wayne, Frank, Faith and John; dear brother of David Diewald; he was preceeded in death by his parents Carl and Myrna (nee Droste) Diewald and brother Jerry Diewald.
Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Friday, October 23, 9:20am to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Imperial for 10:00 am mass. Interment St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Red Bud, IL at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church, appreciated. Visitation Thursday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
