  1. Paul was a great photographer, creative designer, and tireless historian. I looked forward to hearing his stories each month at the 4th Tuesday, Southwest School Monthly Luncheon. He will be greatly missed.

  2. As a Southwest High School alum, I just wanted to say how much Paul will be missed. In addition to being an all around nice guy, he was quite the SWHS historian. I always enjoyed it when Paul took the mike at our monthly luncheons and took us all on a stroll down Southwest HS memory lane. My condolences to his entire family and friends.

  6. I only knew Paul through the Southwest High Luncheons and yet he made a lasting impression as someone who loved life today as well as life in the past. He was a great teacher for all of us at the luncheons who cherished his glimpses into our past. Rest in peace Paul.

  8. As a Southwest High School alum, I just wanted to say how much Paul will be missed. I always enjoyed it when Paul took the mike at our monthly luncheons and gave us interesting tidbits of history about our high school. Paul also helped a lot with the 60 year reunion of our class of 65. I hope the web pages with his photographs can remain available in the future as part of his legacy.

My condolences to his entire family and friends.

  10. Just before Veteran’s Day, Paul and I become acquainted after his detective skills found me. Paul learned that my brother and I were Southwest HIgh School graduates and he wanted to learn more about us. Paul was so gracious, kind, and enthusiastic. It is truly my loss that we did not have the chance to meet as we had planed during the Southwest High School luncheon on Tuesday to share our joy of imaging. I fear we have lost a guiding light and a wonderful man.

  11. I’ve only known Paul for the 2 years I’ve been attending the SW High luncheons, but I am truly amazed at how dedicated and talented he was. He made everyone feel special through his photography each month, and especially if we were honored enough to be on the cover of ‘People’ (so creative!). My condolences to your family – Paul will be greatly missed.
