Doenges, David A.

Doenges, David A. was born on November 1, 1937 to August and Rowena (nee Ludwig) Doenges, and entered into rest on June 27, 2025 at the age of 87.

Loving husband of 69 years to Pat (nee Holst) Doenges. Dear father of Douglas (Maggie) Doenges, and Daniel (Melinda) Doenges. Brother of the late Dorothy Sedovic. Dear grandpa of Dustin (Robyn) Doenges, and Daniel (Sarah) Doenges. Great grandpa of Chase, David, Gus, and Dylan. Cousin, uncle, and friend of many.

David was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Festus, MO, and also a member of the Eagles, and Elks clubs. A proud member of Operating Engineers Local #513 for 66 years. He loved horses, and sporting clays. He was past president of the Southeast Jefferson Saddle Club.

SERVICES: A VISITATION will be held on Tuesday, July 1 from 4-8 pm at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. SERVICE will be at 11 am on Wednesday, July 2. Burial at St Trinity Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his honor appreciated to the American Cancer Society.

  4. Uncle Dave – I’m so sad you are gone, but glad you are at peace. Although brief and far between, I did truly enjoy our visits.
