Doetzel

In Loving Memory

Doetzel, Jr. Clifford Edward

Clifford Edward Doetzel, Jr. passed peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 88.  He was a proud Navy Veteran who is survived by his wife of 60 years Sharon (nee Shannon).  He was a loving father to Laura Doetzel Hanson, David (Carey) Doetzel, Dan Doetzel and the late Clifford Doetzel III; a dear brother to the late Linda Harris (Tom) and beloved Paw Paw to 8 loving grandchildren – Jessica Brown (Jake), Rachel Hanson, Joseph Hanson, Haley Doetzel, Gabrielle Doetzel, Alec Doetzel, Camryn Doetzel and Jackson Doetzel.

Cliff was a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.  He loved playing practical jokes, buying and selling cars and spending time with his buddies at the Elks Club or at a local watering hole on Saturday afternoons.  He was a gleeful tease and notoriously frugal – but he was always and unapologetically Cliff, and will be missed by all!!

Services at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. are as follows: Visitation is Wednesday August 3rd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  A chapel service will be held at 1:00 pm followed shortly after by a military burial service at Jefferson Barracks.
