Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Don died peacefully in St. Louis, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the age of 95. Don was born August 23, 1931, in Olney, IL, to the late Mayme (nee Wallach) Douglas. He graduated from St. Martin of Tours grade school and St. Mary High School, attended St. Louis University for one year, and completed a 4½-year electrical apprenticeship. He worked 39½ years at McDonnell Aircraft, later McDonnell-Douglas.
Don was the beloved husband of the late Joan Douglas (nee Reitz). He is survived by his children David, Donna (Gary) Myracle, Daniel and Don; 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Brittany, Ashley, Andrew and Molly; 6 great-grandchildren, Owen, Graham, Greta, Rylee, Taylor and Cora; dear friend to many.
Don loved making people laugh and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed.

SERVICES: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Monday, October 26th, 9:30 AM to St. Paul Catholic Church (15 Forest Knoll Dr., 63026) for 10:00 AM Mass. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
