  3. Bob always lit up q room as soon as he walked in and the entire mood changed because of his presence. He went to everyone and greeted them with a big smile and always asked how we were doing. Of course, he had to slip in at least one of his corny jokes.

I joined the Army and didn’t return for over twenty years. My fist participation in a class activity was the 25th reunion, Bob walked up to me and greeted me as if it had only been a month since we had seen each other. Because of him I continue to participate in class activities every chance I get.

Bob was loved by all, RIP my friend

  7. I never called you Vader, because that all started after our time together ended, and much to your disappointment, I never saw Star Wars and didn’t understand the whole “Force” thing. But I have so many memories from 50+ years ago, and although I can’t remember them as sharply as you did, I will always remember.

I’m sad to think that I will never see you again, but happy to know that you are with Leo. Fly high, old friend.

RIP Bob I’ll always think of you when I drive by the DB football field.
