Dubach, Barbara Jean

Barbara Jean Dubach, daughter of Philip and Adeline Elizabeth (Rosendale) Dennis, was born December 6, 1960, in Carthage, IL. Her childhood was lived in that community where she attended its public schools and graduated in 1979 from Highland High School, Ewing, MO.
On October 31, 1982, in Kirksville, MO she married Benjamin Dubach who passed away in 2002.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Amelia (Daniel) Burgess and their children: Joseph David and Philip John Burgess, as well as her mother Adeline, sisters Mary (Ted) Reichert; Pamela (Ted) Mitchell, and brother Philip (Aimee) Dennis alongside aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded by a still born son Ralph Benjamin Dubach Aug 28, 1983, as well as a nephew, Michael Paul Reichert, March 28, 1986, her father Philip Ray Dennis, March 29, 2020, and her grandparents, aunts, uncles.

Barbara’s primary employment was as a factory worker even though she occasionally was engaged by Walmart and other seasonable employers as circumstance necessitated or allowed. She will be remembered as a charitable, generous, self-giving soul, ever loving and approachable in her relationship with others, especially her parents, siblings, daughter and son-in-law, and the grandchildren.
At an early age she was baptized in the Methodist faith and was a member of Bowen United Methodist Church, Bowen, IL, for a significant part of her adult life.

She enjoyed relatively good heath until the advances of age began to weaken her condition. She resided in two nursing home since March 2020, and on March 14th she was hospitalized at St. John’s Mercy. She remained there until April 4 when she transferred to Delmar Gardens – Meramec where she remained until her passing Friday, April 8, 2022, at 5:55 a.m. She attained the age of 61 years, 4 months, and 2 days.

Services are being held at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracks View Rd, St. Louis, Mo April 18, 2020 Public viewing will be from 9 a.m. -11a.m. and  the funeral service will follow.
Following this service, she will be interred at Park Lawn Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.

In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the funeral funds or Peace Lutheran Church.

  11. Oh Gosh I just seen this I’m so sorry for the family.She was a few years ahead of me in High School.I Graduated with her sister Pam She was always a happy person to be around in school
