Durso-Rudanovich, Carmen (nee: Ford)

Carmen (nee: Ford) Durso-Rudanovich, age 101, of Arnold, MO went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones.  Carmen was born in Annapolis, MO on August 23, 1923 to the late John and Mamie Ford.  From the time she was young she always cared for all of her family members, starting with her siblings continuing to her great grandchildren.  She also found joy in playing the violin, camping, playing volleyball, and supporting every family member by attending numerous sporting games, school functions, and recitals throughout the years.  She was a member of Community Bible Church of Pevely after giving her life to the Lord.  Over the century of her life, she has touched countless lives with her kindness, fairness, compassion, consideration, and unconditional love.  Carmen was an immeasurable blessing to all who knew her.

She is survived by her siblings John (Junior) Ford, Eunisa Bond, Lana Gaston, her daughters, Daina (Dennis) Rudanovich of Arnold, MO, Delma Lorella of Imperial, MO her grandchildren, Sauny (Jeff) Benack of Festus, MO, Steven Blanchard of Tampa, FL, Mark (Cheri) Rudanovich of Imperial, MO, Laura (Nikolas) Maxwell of Imperial, MO, Doug (Melissa) Lorella of Herculaneum, MO, David (Joanna) Lorella of Imperial, MO, Kevin (Debbie) Durso of St. Charles, MO, Khris (Meredith) Durso of Bridgeton, MO, great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Benjamin) Brake, Kinsey Benack, Kaleb, Adyson, and Lyndsi Rudanovich, Josiah, Seth, and Luke Maxwell, Cheyenne Lorella, Paige, Clayton, Zachary, and Brooklyn Lorella and many more family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Carmen Durso and Dan Rudanovich, her daughter, Daretta (Dee) Blanchard, her son-in-law, Roy Lorella, her siblings, Delian (Dee) Ford, Donald Ford, Daretta Ann Ford, Carnelia Luddecke, Elvera Creek, Darwin Ford, Darlene Ford, and Wayne Ford.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road (63129) Monday, October 7, 11am.  Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.  Visitation Sunday 4 to 8pm.
