Rip Ellen, I’ve known you for almost 50 years when I met you and your family through Gary. You always were my little sister and a smart one at that. Thank you for taking me under your wing and showing me the swing dance world. Now you are an angel watching over us.

She was a great friend who always saw the best in people and put there needs first over her own. I will miss our talks, texts, and most of all her love.

Ellen was one of a group of Parade dancer. She danced last 4th of July in the St Louis V.P. Parade with a group from South Side Imperial Dance Club and U Can Dance. She helped everyone master the steps and we looked great. She attended many swing dances and was fun to be with. She will be greatly missed.

Ellen was a true force for good in the world. I know she was greeted by many wagging tails, happy barks and meows. She made a difference in the lives of so many people and critters.
