Edward George Chott, fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Loving husband of the late Gwendolyn R. Chott (nee Pink).  He leaves his daughter, Catherine Buchheit (Kevin); daughter, Donna Murtha (Mark); and son, James Chott (Kimberly); 7 grandchildren, Christina Miller (Chris); Michael Buchheit  (Ann); Michelle Dobbs (Drew); Robert Murtha; Daniel Murtha (Joanna); Anthony Chott; Olivia Chott;  and 8 great grandchildren, Grace Buchheit; Sloane Miller; Aniston Miller; Sunny Buchheit; Dominik Dobbs; Mila Dobbs; Rocky Buchheit; Noah Murtha; friends; and extended family.

Mr. Chott was born in St. Louis on November 7, 1929, and during his childhood years, was a member of St. George Catholic Church. Edward honorably served his country in the Korean War, and in April, 1955, he married Gwendolyn, the love of his life.  They were married for 67 years and were devoted members of St John the Beloved Parish.  Edward worked over thirty years at General Motors in St. Louis before retiring.  He was a devoted husband, loving father,  grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend to many.
