Anna Coleen (nee: Burlison) Eggemeyer “Coleen” daughter of the late Matthew and Gladys Burlison, was called Home and joined her husband Kendall Eggemeyer in Heaven on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024. Devoted mother to Ericka Eggemeyer, Rana (Jamie) Jones, Micki Thompson, Jody (Darlene) Craine. Beloved grandmother “Mamoo” to Josiah Jones, Juliana Jones, Bobby Clutts, Jade (Allie) Thompson, Holly (Shawn) Doyle, Great grandmother to Spencer Levi, Shayli Thompson, Liliana Thompson, Maxon Stone, Tydus Stone, Greatest grandmother to Blake Daniel Stone. Dear Sister to Drenda Clements and the late Jerry Burlison and late Madeline Burlison. Loving cousin, aunt and cherished friend to many.

 

Coleen graduated from Murray State University and received her Masters  at Webster Groves University. She was a respected educator for the Mehlville school district for 30+ years. Avid bridge player in multiple clubs, member of Eugene Field Questers and Red Hat Society. Coleen loved life to the fullest, dancing and music were top on her list and she always enjoyed time with her family and many wonderful friends; attending theatre, musicals, lunches with friends and simply making others feel special, especially with her card ministry.

 

SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Monday, December 30th, 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.Immediately following the service at Kutis, Interment at St.Trinity Cemetery (2160 Lemay Ferry Rd). Followed by Celebration of Life at Royale Orleans (2801 Telegraph Rd 63125) from 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm.

  3. The best cousin ever. I remember the fun we had growing up when she lived in Uniontown, KY. Loved her visits to see the families in Sturgis, KY. I really enjoyed our short vacations to St Louis to see her and her family. Will miss her greatly.
