Passed away on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 surrounded by his family.
Beloved son of Gerald (Barb) Ehnes and Joyce Ehnes (nee Windmoeller); loving brother of Susan (the late Bob) Reeves, Linda Winkler, Mike (Carrie) Ehnes, and Scott (Amy) Ehnes; adoring uncle of Sarah (Zach) Collins, Nicole (Greg) Lewis, Shelby (Rich) Wetstein, Melanie (Aaron) Larkin, Michael Ehnes, Andrew Ehnes, Emma Ehnes, Mackenzie Ehnes, and Charlie Ehnes; dear nephew and friend to many.
Jerry was a proud St. Louis City Police Officer for twenty years. After retiring from the department he became a driving instructor and quickly became adored by his students. Known for his patience, calmness, and putting people at ease. He was humble to his core. Always a grounded, positive source of strength and quick to make you laugh.
