Alveda Marie (Jeude) Ehrlich, 96, of Brighton, MI passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026.
Born on September 28, 1929, in Pevely, Missouri, Alveda lived a life centered on faith, family, and love. She was raised in the Lutheran faith and remained deeply devoted throughout her life, being very involved in and supportive of the Lutheran Church. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, William Ehrlich, in which they were blessed with celebrating 70 years together. She was a dedicated stay-at-home mother whose greatest joy was caring for her family. She created a warm and welcoming home where delicious meals, loving support, and treasured family traditions were always abundant.
Alveda found happiness in cooking, gardening, camping, and traveling. She especially loved exploring the world on cruises with her husband, embracing each adventure with curiosity and enthusiasm. Whether tending her flowers, preparing favorite family recipes, or making memories with those she loved, Alveda’s kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Ehrlich; her parents, William and Olga (Gieselmann) Jeude; her sisters, Mary and Dorothy, and brother Bill.
Alveda is lovingly survived by her children, Donna (Tom) Marusak, Diane Ehrlich, Daryl (Lori) Ehrlich, and Doreen (Duane) Redder. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Brian (Carolyn), Kevin (Sarah), Trisha (Dave), Rick (Caitlyn), Doug (Becca), Tyler (Ali), Shelby (Kelly), Garret (Morgan), and Shannon. She was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren: William, Landon, Lyla, Andrew, Lucas, Alex, Lillian, Allison, Arlington, Jude, Joey, Cecilia, Gus, Lucy, Peter, and Baby Boy Berg, expected in November 2026.
Alveda’s greatest legacy is the love she shared with her family. Her unwavering devotion, gentle heart, and joyful spirit will continue to live on in the countless memories she created and in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A funeral service for Alveda will be held at 10:00am on Monday, August 10, at Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 5810 Hwy 61, Imperial, MO with visitation from 9:30am until the time of service. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pevely, MO.
