Ehrlich, William Frederick Jr “Bill”, Asleep in Jesus Tuesday, August 27th, 2024. Beloved Husband of Alveda M. Ehrlich (nee: Jeude) for 71 years. Dearest Father of Donna (Tom) Marusak, Diane Ehrlich, Daryl (Lori) Ehrlich and Doreen (Duane) Redder. Loving grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 15. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

Bill was born on October 30th 1928, in Saint Louis, to William and Theresa Ehrlich. He attended Roosevelt High School, Washington University and Michigan State University. Bill served in the US Army in the occupation of Japan and was a veteran of the Korean War as well. He retired from the HJ Heinz Company as a regional sales manager. Bill was a past president and board member of Jeffco Subcrafting as well as a member of Chapter 3 Korean War Veterans. Bill was a lifelong layman in the ELCA Lutheran Church. He loved camping, playing cards, fishing and reading. He, with his wife Alveda were world travelers.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Saint Louis, MO 63129) on Friday, August 30th from 4-7pm. The funeral ceremony will be at Family of Christ Lutheran Church (5810 US Hwy 61-67, Imperial, MO 63052) on Saturday, August 31st at 10am. Burial at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery (Pevely, MO) immediately following service. Donations to Family of Christ Lutheran Church or Korean War Veterans Association appreciated.

  1. Bill was a take charge and get it done kind of guy. He loved our church with a passion and with his family they were jewels in his crown. He was always bursting with pride when he spoke of them. He may be gone for the moment but we are assured a heavenly reunion!
    God bless Alveda and their family now with comfort and peace. We love you all!

  2. We are so sorry to all the family for the loss of your father. I am Stella Calderon. I went to high school with Diane. I saw your father and mother occasionally and I know they were great people. I know he is missed by all of you and you are in our thoughts and prayers always, our family in Brunswick, Georgia hope and pray that you all know that he is watching over all of you now we wish your mother and all of you are deepest condolences .   3. Many happy times with Bill and Alveda at HR campouts and the many lunch and dinner times we shared with them. They are two very special people. We think of them often.
