Ermeret

In Loving Memory

Ermert, Janet Ann (nee Dodge)

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Jan passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the age of 77. She was born on September 19, 1944 to the late Theodore and Doris (nee McAdam) Dodge; beloved wife of 55 years to Edward Ermert; devoted mother of Scott Ermert, Michael (Erica) Ermert, Terri (Jeremy) McDonald and the late Todd Ermert; dear sister of Joan (Bill) Sweeney, Ronald (the late Verna) Dodge, Daniel (Gloria) Dodge and the late Tom (Debbie) Dodge and Ellen (Gary) Helle; a wonderful grandmother to Gabriel Giovanni and Lily Rose Ermert. Jan was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Jan was very devoted to her faith, Holy Mary and her family was her No. 1 priority. She was very compassionate, generous and gave unselfishly to everyone that she met. Jan loved getting together with her family and her friends for dinners. She was our social butterfly and always had a smile on her face that was very contagious. We love you, until we meet again.

As per her wishes, Jan was cremated. There will be a Memorial Mass at a later date for her celebration of life. Kutis Affton Service.

  9. Jan was one of the kindest people I have ever met. Always with a smile, she would give the shirt off her back to anyone. She truly cared about everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. I have no doubt that she will be tending to her beautiful family while in heaven. Please rest and know how much of a lasting impact you have made on so many people, God’s angel.

  11. I am so very sorry for your family’s heartbreaking loss. Mrs. Ermert, as I grew up knowing her, has always had a special place in my heart. Her smile lit up a room…as did her inner light that shined so bright. She was a warm caring and compassionate woman who reminded me a lot of my own mother. She will be missed dearly. Please take comfort in knowing she is in Heaven with Todd. What a glorious reunion that must have been. If there is anything at all I can do to help your family please don’t hesitate to ask.
