  1. Our condolences to Mary and the entire Ernst clan. In May of 1976 Bob and I met in Miami Florida at Associated Grocers. I was fresh out of college and he was new with the firm also. I was quickly dubbed “The Rookie”! For the next 46 years I was always “The Rookie” a moniker I was proud to called by my friend Bob! Five years later found him back in St.Louis at United and me interning in St.Louis for a scheduled expansion. Again, I was The Rookie and proud of it!
Bob was a great mentor to me in my early career days and for that I am eternally grateful.

Bob is with the Lord Jesus now and fully healed from all the illness and pain.
So, Mary and the entire Ernst family, our deepest sympathies to you all!
