Mark Factor 1

In Loving Memory

Factor. Mark L.

July 14, 1984 - August 25, 2026

Mark Factor, 42, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026. He is survived by his grandmother, Grace Factor; his aunts and uncles, Greg and Denice, Kim, Mike and Pam, and Jim and Peggy; and his cousins, Kris (Vance), Steve, Rachel, Erick (Kate), Eddie (Dana), Katie (Angelo), Lillie, David, Matt, and Mary; and many other loving family members. He was the beloved son of John and Mary Kaye Factor, beloved brother of Mary Beth Factor, and beloved father of Rebecca and Kevin. He is resting in peace with his grandfathers, Leonard Factor and Melvin Foerster; his grandmother, Mary Foerster; and his uncle, Jim Factor.

Mark was a kind-hearted and gentle soul who loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. He enjoyed his previous work at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and spoke fondly of his coworkers. Those who knew him best knew his sense of humor well, and he could always be found sharing jokes with his dad. He took immense joy in the outdoors — float trips, hiking, and camping were among his favorite ways to spend time with loved ones. He enjoyed playing cards and watching movies and shows with family, and just two weeks before his passing, he attended what would be his last Cardinals game. Above all, Mark loved his children, Rebecca and Kevin, until his final day.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9907 Sappington Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. and a luncheon at 12:00 p.m. at the same location. All are welcome. The interment is scheduled for Monday, September 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery at 6901 MacKenzie Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123, followed by a luncheon.
