In Loving Memory

Faria, Viola

Viola Faria, 76, passed away Dec. 29, 2021, in St. Louis, Missouri
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, working for Shell Oil Company before starting her own home cleaning
business.

Viola’s priority was to raise her daughter Christina, providing her with a myriad of opportunities. An ally
to the disability community, she was always willing to help her daughter and friends do anything they
wanted to. In St. Louis her dream of owning a home was realized. Her adopted granddaughters Amelia
and Miranda Willmering were her pride and joy. Her life’s motto was “Do what you can with what you
have where you are,” and she always shared everything she learned along the way. She will be
remembered for her never failing sense of humor, fiery personality, love of curse words, Elvis obsession,
and just how deeply she loved everyone.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents Marie & Guadalupe Rios and is survived by her daughter
Christina Faria & Brother Robert Rios.
