Passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuedsday, April 21, 2026. Beloved wife of Eric L. Feikert for over 18 years; loving mother of Samantha (Eric) Johnson and Eric Jr. (Jamie) Feikert; cherished grandmother of Emma, Noah, Isabella, Thomas, Logan and Dexter; treasured daughter of William and Cynthia Sonnenschein; dearest sister of Kathleen (Kevin) McCarney and will be missed by many.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd on Wednesday, April 29, 1:30p.m. Burial ParK Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to M.S. Society appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m.
Bridget was my first niece, my brother & wife’s oldest daughter. She was smart, very talented and spent much of her life caring for others until being diagnosed with MS.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Thank you, Eric, her husband, for loving her and taking care of her, God bless her family❣️
Thank you so much. I did my best, but it wasn’t enough. I miss her dearly. She was the best thing that ever happened to me. She made me a better person. Unfortunately, she became trapped in her own body, and it was terrible to watch her decline. I only hope she is in heaven and now can fly. She deserves it.

Bridget gave me the honor of becoming my wife of over 18 years. She was my sunshine, my love, my life. She always had a smile and loved our children and grandkids so much. Being a nurse made her so proud. She loved her work. Her saddest day came when she could no longer perform her duties as a nurse. That didn’t keep her down. With the help of family and friends she helped raise many thousands of dollars for the MS Society after starting Team Sunshine. Sadly, she took every medication there was for her MS, but nothing helped. Still, she never gave up, she fought all the way to the end. She made me a better person, and I wouldn’t have been without her. I truly loved her and miss her so much now she’s gone. I pray she’s at peace in heaven smiling down on us all walking around and flying with her new wings. Words cannot express how much she is missed by us all. The Sonnennschein’s lived across the street from us. Bridget was my first babysitting job. I was 13 and she was 3. Bridget was so smart and the cutest sweetest little girl. I took her to school for a home ech project. She was 4 then and reading books. They were amazed by her,.(Gaunt High School 9th grade). She taught me how to play charades the card game and would catch my mistakes. She left lasting memories. I know she is in a better place without pain. You will be missed Bridget, fly high with the angels.
