A celebration of life will be held at a later date. John was a proud U. S. Air Force veteran. In lieu of flowers, contributions to any veterans organization appreciated. Kutis South County service.
I am sorry to hear this. I knew John since we were in Kindergarten together way back in 1959. Kept in touch over the years as my brother was married to his sister Kathy. This is sad to hear. May the good Lord rest his soul.

I went through grade school and high school with John he was always good for a laugh. Later I saw him once in awhile and knew he was a good family man. Prayers to his family.

I went to elementary school and church with John and later kept up through FB. He loved his children and adored his grandchildren. My prayers are with his family.
John was a Cardinal and MIZZOU fanatic. I’ll never forget how proud he was when his son Jacob graduated from Med School at MIZZOU. He was a rebel with a cause, quick-witted, and knew how to get you to chuckle. May the Perpetual Light shine upon him.

Very sorry to hear of John’s passing. We were classmates at Holy Family, and sometimes teammates and opponents on the baseball diamond. One of my fondest memories of John was playing a game at McDonald (B&U) Park. John was at bat and hit a scorching line drive toward me at second base which, somehow, I managed to stick my glove out and catch it. John just looked at me incredulous and said, “Open your (fill in the blank) eyes, Kalil!” I never saw John again after grade school, but was happy to have reconnected with him on Facebook several years ago. He truly loved his family and was so proud of his grandkids! He will be missed. Rest in peace, John. Prayers and condolences to all John’s family and friends. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
