Gerald E. “Jerry” Flens

Age 83, Friday, February 23, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Louise S. Flens. Beloved father of Stephen (Stephanie) Flens, and Jennifer (Paul) Brown. Beloved Papa of Parker, Spencer, Kayleigh, and Logan. Beloved brother of Christine (the late Ed) Mash, brother-in-law of Lucille (Pat) Pearson, uncle, and friend.

Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Army, and later had a distinguished career with the U.S. Federal Government as an IRS Special Agent for 33 years.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Thursday, February 29, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday, March 1st, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque 9:30 a.m. Mass.  Interment J.B. National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to American Heart Association.

  1. Jerry and I were classmates in grammar school and high school on the south side of chicago. He stood up to my wedding We were close friends He was a White Sox fan before he moved to ST Louis. May god keep him in the palm of his hands
