It is with profound sadness and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia (“Patti”) Louise Fowler, who passed away on August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on November 20, 1951, Patti lived a life marked by strength, kindness, resilience, and generosity. She devoted herself to her family and friends, creating a legacy of compassion and connection that will continue for generations.
Patti was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She found great joy in reading, gardening, and spending time with those closest to her. Those who knew her will remember her for cranking up the music and showing off her “famous two-step” dance moves, bringing laughter and happiness to every gathering. She was also the proud owner and operator of Patti’s Cleaning Service for nearly 50 years, a testament to her strong work ethic, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Beard; her son, Aaron (Francine) Sonnenschein; and her cherished grandchildren, Taina Jardim, Cora Beard (Cooper Wells), and Chase Beard (Hannah). She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Brodz, and her husband, Billy Fowler.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her wisdom, strength, and example will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Botanical Garden, a place that reflected her passion for gardening and nature. Patti also held a special place in her heart for Jubilee Church in Sunset Hills, where she was recently baptized. Donations in her memory may also be made to the church.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on through the countless lives she touched and the kindness she so freely shared.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
