Life can take an unexpected turn in the blink of an eye, creating an overwhelming sense of loss. Grief from the passing of such a beautiful soul, especially one gone too soon, leaves an enduring mark on the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Take comfort in his memories and know that he is at peace. RIP Johnny and please look up my oldest brother in the great beyond. You are so much alike; you will be great friends!
I’m so sorry for the family Johnny! How you survived your sister’s growing up I don’t know but you were a great addition. I know everyone who had the chance to know you will miss you. Prayers to my extended family, you are with me always. I Love ALL of you!! 😘❤️
RIP John.
You were the best neighbor, friend, Chef and definitely dad. I enjoyed trying out your new recipes. You had such a big heart, if you seen a friend in need you would put them to work for you if space was available. Matt always talks about all he learned from working next to you. We love you and your family.
Best friend forever
.more than can be said.

We spent 20 yrs together and I will never forget them ❤️ you were such a wonderful person to many, a loyal person, you are loved by so many. You will never be forgotten. I will take care of our girls and our grandbabies. Now it is time for you to finally be able to rest. No more pain. I will carry you in my heart forever and always ❤️ fly high John 💙 watch over all of us ❤️ when you can let your girls know you are ok and safe in heaven 💙 we will see you again one day, until then rest easy 💙
Our hearts ache for you and your family Sean during this difficult time. Your father was a remarkable soul, embodying selflessness and compassion. Not only did he care deeply for his own family, but he also extended his love and support to those fortunate enough to be under his wing. His legacy as a loving father, devoted son, cherished uncle, and steadfast friend will forever resonate in the hearts of many.
While we mourn the loss of the time we had planned to spend with him, we find solace in knowing that God’s plan was to watch over his family from heaven. Sean, your father’s pride in you shines brightly, and we want you to know that we are here for you always.
With all our love & prayers,
The Sotolar Family
I’ve been best friends with John’s sister Marti for probably 30 years now. Whenever he was around he could make light of any situation (which could be tough if you know his four siblings). Never a negative vib. I’m so sorry I never got to taste his cuisine. Sweet sweet guy – taken too soon. I am requesting a Mass be said in his honor at our church and Lou and I include him in our prayers every night.
