LaForce Frederick “Fred” Arthur

Frederick “Fred” Arthur LaForce was born August 12, 1945, in Fullerton, California, the son of Adrian F. and Evelyn R. (Saviers) LaForce.

After graduation from Servite High School in Orange County, CA, he enlisted in the U.S Army and served in Germany during the Viet Nam Era. Following his discharge he worked for Stanley Tool; Borden Chemical /Mystik Tape Division, Northfield, IL; Superior Insulating Tape of St. Louis and Union, MO; ATAPCO/ATAPCO OPG/ Cardinal Brands, St. Louis, MO; and GuideBook Publishing, St. Louis, MO. Fred was a highly successful and well respected career salesman. His favorite pastime was cruising with his family.

Fred married the love of his life, Terry Burris LaForce, on December 8, 1979 in Arlington Heights, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Brian A. LaForce.

Fred is survived by Terry, his wife of 44 years, and their son, Charles. Also surviving are his daughter, Rachelle (Chris) Chiodini, of Harrisonville, MO; grandchildren Tate, Briana (Joseph) Garcia and Isaac.

SERVICES: A VISITATION will be held at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Monday, March 4 from 4:00- 8:00 pm. FUNERAL SERVICE Tuesday, March 5 at 12 noon. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Memorial donations appreciated to the American Lung Association or charity of choice.

  2. My deepest condolences to Fred’s wife Terry and all his family. I met Fred when we started Servite HS together in 1959 all the way to graduation. I never saw him again after graduating but we got in touch a few years later and kept in touch over the years via email. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.
