  5. Jim was a great man, Marine and friend. I have 2 of my favorite memories:
    (1) the great time we had on Kirkwood’s ride to Niagara Falls. that was so much fun. Jim got us lost a few times, but never wavered and had the big smile.

    (2) helping Jim move the bandsaw he bought from a neighbor up the street. that saw must have weighed as much as a tractor trailer. we pulled and pushed, but Jim was determined to get that saw up those steps. I’m not sure how much I helped, other than moral support.

Semper Fi Jim. Rest in peace sir, we have the watch now.

We are truly saddened by your loss. Jim was such a great guy and we enjoyed spending time with him. He has many stories to tell and was a very good storyteller also. He could always bring a smile and a laugh to everyone’s face. He was also a talented craftsman.
We will miss him as will all who knew what a special man he was! What fond and precious memories you will have!

  17. His memory is a blessing for us all. I will always remember him as “Jim the Stick” due to his amazing woodworking skills. His smile and laughter was so infectious he could put the grumpiest biker in much better mood just by smiling at them. He will be greatly missed.
