Frerichs, Karl Frank

April 9, 1935 - February 9, 2024

Karl Frank Frerichs, 88, of St Louis, MO. passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at his residence. He was born April 9, 1935, a son of Elmer and Alma Frerichs. Karl married Ruth Ann Sewing on 9-1-1957, they later divorced. He married Debra Rodman in 2001 , and she survives.

Karl is also survived by his daughter, Kelli (Fiance Don Seiders) Lewis and 4 sons, Steven (wife Annette) Frerichs, Daniel (wife Kerri) Frerichs, Andrew (wife Jessica) Frerichs, and Thomas (wife Mary Ann) Frerichs, 12 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and 2 on the way. His brother  Paul (wife Donna) Frerichs and several nieces and nephews. Debra’s children, William (Thanh Ngayen) Rodman and Sharon (husband Raymond) DuFaux and Debra’s 10 grandchildren.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, his sister and brother in law, Lois and Ed Patterson, niece, Carrie Patterson and Debra’s son Paul Rodman.

Karl served in the Armed forces. He was a plant foreman at Hano Paper Company in Mt Olive, Illinois for many years and Lighthouse for the Blind in the St Louis area.

Services: Private services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church and School in Litchfield, Illinois or St Johns Lutheran Church on Morganford and Chippewa, St Louis, Missouri.
