Gale;  cherished grandfather of Nathan J. (Nikita) Gale, Jesse D. Gale, Heather M. (Tim) Knopf, Alex W. (Meredith) Benjamin, Tony R. (Jenna) Benjamin; great-grandfather of Haley, Ellie, Wilson and Waylon; dearest brother of Kathleen (the late Jim) Scheer,  Veronica (the late Quentin) Gregson, Edith (Doug) Sahlin, Chris (Kathy) Gale, Rosalie (the late Herb) Dollar and the late Wilburn (survived by Betty) Gale, Bridget (Jim) Van Fleet and Loretta (survived by Norbert) Dreisewerd; dear uncle, great-uncle,  cousin and friend to many.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255  Lemay Ferry Rd., Tuesday, January 23, 10:30 a.m. to St.  Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church for 11:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Contributions in Bernard’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.  Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m.
