Richard J. Garcia, was born on August 21, 1955 and entered into peaceful rest on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of June Garcia (nee Trudt), loving father of Krista Garcia, and loving family in Texas. A dear friend to many, and also a dog-dad to his German Shepherd, Frank.
Rick has joined his parents, Lucille and Manuel Garcia, and sister, Lydia Garcia, for eternal rest with Jesus and the angels.
He was known as an avid fan of Alabama football since 2006, jazz music, road trips in the Mustang, and his legendary bar-b-que. Rick graduated from Affton High School.

Visitation will be held at 4-8 pm, Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd, Affton, MO 63123. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, February 16, 2024 at Seven Holy Founders Church, 6737 S Rock Hill Rd, Affton, MO 63123.
June, Your Affton classmates are mourning the loss of Rick as well. He touched many lives.
I am sorry I will be out of town and cannot attend the memorial service, but I will be thinking of you and your daughter.

I am very sadden to hear of your passing, when June called to let me know you have departed this world. And I would like to say that it was an Honnor to know you! I enjoyed all of our conversations we would have at Restaurant Depot, when you came in to shop and some of the times we also got to meet up for a drink.. I only wish there would have been more time to enjoy your company as it always was a privilege! I will miss you Greatly my friend an hope to see you again in the next life.
