Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Garner for 50 wonderful years; devoted mother of Tom Garner, Kippy (Allan) DiRie, Judy (Mark) Colvin, and the late Terri Garner; cherished grandmother of Christopher (Taryn), Kelly, and Abby DiRie and Claire (Manuel Garcia) and Jack Colvin; adoring great grandmother of Henry, Rowan, and Jameson DiRie; dearest daughter of the late Edward J. McCarthy and Marie C. McCarthy (nee Sweeney); loving sister of the late James (Mary) McCarthy and Patricia (Edward) Giesler III; dear sister-in-law of Sonia Schmierbach and Merle Garner; our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the Mercy David C. Pratt Cancer Center are greatly appreciated.

SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Tuesday, March 18th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church (15 Forest Knoll Dr., 63026) on Wednesday, March 19th at 10:00 AM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

  3. I am truly sorry for your loss. Jeanne and I went to St. John the Baptist school, birth Mo. both Oct. & the second name Marie. We enjoyed life & could laugh at almost anything life brought, with God’s help. My prayers are with you. God Bless you Jeanne, from another old friend, Connie
