  9. My Aunt’s Family (in-laws•Beck’s) were the original owners. I spent a lot of time there over the years, especially when my daughter was little and they sponsored an indoor soccer league for us.
I cannot thank John enough for “saving” The Haven and bringing it back to Life, even better than before. My deepest condolences to your family, your staff “family” and all of us who love The Haven. You will be missed by so many. Gone too soon. If anything were to change on that corner••• I hope it would just be the name.

  10. I just found about John’s passing. My condolences to his family. John treated me and my late husband, Bill (Booze) Busekrus like family. We first met him at Dulaney’s and the followed him to O’Leary’s and of course to The Haven. We enjoyed when he would sit and visit with us at our table. He was a wonderful and caring friend. May he rest in peaceful.
