  1. Gerri Gauvain, one wonderful lady, that I was privileged to meet through her daughter, Donna, shortly after her husband, Don had passed away. I was lucky to have known her for around 25 years, to have had many lunches/dinners with her. I got to enjoy many hours talking with her about Cardinal baseball, stories about Don, and her kids. Since I had not known Don, herself or her children when they were younger she shared many stories and details about them that were very funny, interesting and many heartwarming. We also spent a lot of time playing card games, this was a highlight for me, for as I grew up, this was something that my family did as well and it was something that I greatly missed. As an outsider, it helped me become part of the family.

She loved her husband, her children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the daughter/son in laws, the wives/husbands of her grandchildren.
She was very generous, often buying lunches.

A warm caring person that will be greatly missed by all.
I feel very lucky to have known her. To call her “MOM”.
It is easy for me to say you were a “great Mother in Law”!

  5. Having a hard time finding words to express our feelings right now… but we
    think you mom was wonderful.
We will miss Gerri very much!
Her sweet heart and kind ways
    truly always warmed our hearts.
Although we were not Gauvain children she made us feel so welcome.
Over the years we had lots of laughs and we enjoyed every minute spent with her, Card games, talking sports, or sharing books. She was truly a blessed soul and we were lucky to have spent time with her. We love your mom❤️And will miss her very much . Praying for you all in this difficult time.
