In Loving Memory

Gebelein, Rev. Gary M.

July 26, 1947 - May 26, 2025

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, May 26th, 2025.

Beloved son of the late Joseph and Rita Gebelein; loving brother of Donna (Don) Childers, Doug (Ssang) Gebelein, Cindy Gebelein, and the late Clifford Gebelein; dear uncle of Dawn (Bryan) Menges, Dana (Shawn) Rodgers, and Joe and Jacob Gebelein; dear great uncle of Hannah, Hailey, and Madeleine Menges and Rihanna Rodgers; our dear cousin and friend to many.

Father Gary had many interests.  He loved to travel.  He was a talented magician & enjoyed entertaining others. He was a wonder at growing beautiful plants & had his own “Shaw’s Garden” in his backyard, including a pond with goldfish & turtles.

Most of all, Father Gary was grateful for all the people to whom he met & ministered.

  1. I love Fr. Gary for the kind and caring person he was. He also married me and my late husband, Dan and was always there for our family. He will always be in my prayers! God Bless!
