Sister Barbara Geers, SSND passed away on August 17, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward J. Geers and Hazel F. (Stockstill) Geers, and her brother Wallace Geers. She is survived by her sister Mary Frances Veninga of Salem, South Carolina, nieces and nephews, and great & great-great nieces, friends, classmates, Sisters in Community and SSND Associates.
Services: Visitation and Mass of Resurrection will be held at The Sarah Community, 12284 DePaul Dr. Bridgeton, MO 63044 on October 26, 2026. Visitation at 2:00PM, Sharing of Memories at 2:30PM and Mass at 3:00PM. The services will be recorded and available at ssndcp.org
Interment at Sancta Maria in Ripa Cemetery on Tuesday, October 27, at 10:00AM.
