Genevieve Rose Gribben was born on May 2, 1944 to James and Mary (nee Luepke) Lynch in St. Louis, MO and entered into rest on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the age of 82.
Dear wife of 62 years to James Joseph Gribben. Loving mother of Stephanie (Ken Dickerson) Barsella. Dear grandmother of Riley (Brian), sister of Mary Ann Roam and the late James Joseph Lynch, dear aunt to Michael Johnson, James Roam, Angela Sample, and Steve Sample. Dear cousin to Jim (Mary Ellen) Paunovich.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your mother and father. I just learned of their passing and the circumstances.
I worked with your father at J.W. Allen & Co for many years and more recently at Eurogerm. We had many wonderful moments and I learned so much from him. He gave me the freedom to grow. I knew your mom. She was a sweet lovely person.
My heart broke when I heard what happened. I cannot imagine the sudden loss for you and your family. If you are ever in the Chicago area I’d love to meet you. Or if you’d like to talk I’d welcome the opportunity.
