Geoghegan, James D. of Washington, MO was Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (nee Degen) and the late Patricia (nee Webb) Geoghegan; dearest father of Dana (Ray) Smetana, Scott (the late Diane) Geoghegan, Jamie (Keith) Obermark, Mary (Bill) Smreker and the late Carl (survived by Betsy), Donald and Robert Degen; loving grandfather of Michelle, Brian, Eric, Lisa, Jake, Joe, Alycia, Nate, Tara and the late Christopher, Katie and Andrew; great-grandfather of 12; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

 

SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois on Saturday, July 10, 9-10am then to St. John Paul II Catholic Church for 10:30am Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to the Humane Society or the Hospice organization of your choice appreciated.

  3. Jim was such a good old guy. Always teasing and joking. He will be missed by many but will be joining the other angels in heaven to live on forever. My sincerest condolences to his family and especially my dear friend, Dana.
